Drop by on any Saturday morning to Berlin's open air museum charting agricultural life, and take advantage of the goodies on offer at the weekly organic farmers' market.

Any other day this musuem is worth a visit too, charting as it does both rural life and the work of artisans in the days before industrialisation.

The museum is based in the grounds of the Dahlem manor house, offering an opportunity to get away from the noise and grime of the city and sample a more peaceful life that has long passed by.

There are demonstrations of crafts, and it's a great spot for children who will love tending the farm's animals.
