Stretching along Albert Cuyp Street in the district of De Pijp, Albert Cupymarkt is a wonderful, vibrant place to visit filled with over 300 stalls of multi-cultural wares. The huge variety of items on sale means that you can just as easily buy a set of pajamas as you can a herring sandwich - and thats just what Amsterdammers love about the place. While browsing for cheap fashion or household items might not be everyones cup of tea, Albert Cuypmarkt is also a great place to snack on some freshly made street food. Even the Dutch favourites, stroopwafels, are made to order here.
